Istanbul-based artist Cihan Kahvecioğlu's album When the Fugue Ends, released in January 2024, features compositions and improvisations that blend meditative rhythmic and harmonic structures with contemporary and avant-garde jazz approaches. The album consists of eight tracks, with Kahvecioğlu joined by Gürtuğ Gök on saxophone, Cansun Küçüktürk on guitar, Emil Tan Erten on keyboards, and Okan Kaya on bass guitar. It stands out for its unique and innovative qualities, thanks to the seamless collaboration of musicians who, having worked together in various projects, bring their distinctive musical approaches to the forefront.
